    Octave Forge

    Octave Forge

A collection of packages providing extra functionality for GNU Octave

Octave Forge is a central location for collaborative development of packages for GNU Octave. The Octave Forge packages expand Octave's core functionality by providing field specific features via Octave's package system. See https://octave.sourceforge.io/packages.php for a list of all available packages. GNU Octave is a high-level interpreted language, primarily intended for numerical computations. It provides capabilities for the numerical solution of linear and nonlinear problems, and for performing other numerical experiments. It also provides extensive graphics capabilities for data visualization and manipulation. Octave is normally used through its interactive command line interface, but it can also be used to write non-interactive programs. The Octave language is quite similar to Matlab so that most programs are easily portable. Refer to https://www.octave.org for more information.

    rtabmap

    rtabmap

    RTAB-Map library and standalone application

RTAB-Map (Real-Time Appearance-Based Mapping) is a RGB-D, Stereo and Lidar Graph-Based SLAM approach based on an incremental appearance-based loop closure detector. The loop closure detector uses a bag-of-words approach to determine how likely a new image comes from a previous location or a new location. When a loop closure hypothesis is accepted, a new constraint is added to the map’s graph, then a graph optimizer minimizes the errors in the map. A memory management approach is used to limit the number of locations used for loop closure detection and graph optimization so that real-time constraints on large-scale environments are always respected. RTAB-Map can be used alone with a handheld Kinect, a stereo camera or a 3D lidar for 6DoF mapping, or on a robot equipped with a laser rangefinder for 3DoF mapping.

    Arduino libraries

    Arduino libraries

    Arduino libraries and code

This repository contains several Arduino libraries I have written to be used in applications. Most of them include example code on how the libraries can be used. Furthermore, this repository contains a few stand-alone applications. For bugs in the libraries, please fill in an issue in Github as that makes it far easier to track them. If possible provide a minimal code snippet that exposes the bug. Add information about the platform used and version etc. Also, proposals for solutions are welcome. For improvements and changes, please provide a pull request. I will try to follow up on them asap but it can take quite some time. Please try to be generic in your improvements and try to see "over the needs of your own application".

    Point Cloud Library

    Point Cloud Library

A standalone, large scale, open project for 2D/3D image processing

The Point Cloud Library (PCL) is a standalone, large scale, open project for 2D/3D image and point cloud processing. PCL is released under the terms of the BSD license, and thus free for commercial and research use. Whether you’ve just discovered PCL or you’re a long time veteran, this page contains links to a set of resources that will help consolidate your knowledge on PCL and 3D processing. An additional Wiki resource for developers is available too. To simplify both usage and development, we split PCL into a series of modular libraries. PCL is cross-platform, and has been successfully compiled and deployed on Linux, MacOS, Windows, and Android. To simplify development, PCL is split into a series of smaller code libraries, that can be compiled separately. This modularity is important for distributing PCL on platforms with reduced computational or size constraints.

    ESP32 BLE Keyboard library

    ESP32 BLE Keyboard library

Bluetooth LE Keyboard library for the ESP32

This library allows you to make the ESP32 act as a Bluetooth Keyboard and control what it does. Compatible with Android. Compatible with Windows. Compatible with Linux. Compatible with MacOS X (not stable, some people have issues, doesn't work with old devices). Compatible with iOS (not stable, some people have issues, doesn't work with old devices). There is also Bluetooth-specific information that you can set (optional): Instead of BleKeyboard bleKeyboard; you can do BleKeyboard bleKeyboard("Bluetooth Device Name", "Bluetooth Device Manufacturer", 100);. (Max length is 15 characters, anything beyond that will be truncated.) By default the battery level will be set to 100%, the device name will be ESP32 Bluetooth Keyboard and the manufacturer will be Espressif. This feature is meant to compensate for some applications and devices that can't handle fast input and will skip letters if too many keys are sent in a small time frame.

    TinyGSM

    TinyGSM

A small Arduino library for GSM modules, that just works

A small Arduino library for GSM modules that just works. This library is easy to integrate with lots of sketches that use Ethernet or WiFi. PubSubClient (MQTT), Blynk, HTTP Client, and File Download examples are provided. Arduino GSM library uses 15868 bytes (49%) of Flash and 1113 bytes (54%) of RAM in a similar scenario. TinyGSM also pulls data gently from the modem (whenever possible), so it can operate on very little RAM. Now, you have more space for your experiments. TCP (HTTP, MQTT, Blynk, ...) All modules support TCP connections. Most modules support multiple simultaneous connections. TCP and SSL connections can usually be mixed up to the total number of possible connections. Many GSM modems, WiFi, and radio modules can be controlled by sending AT commands over Serial. TinyGSM knows which commands to send, and how to handle AT responses, and wraps that into the standard Arduino Client interface.

    WS2812FX

    WS2812FX

WS2812 FX library for Arduino and ESP8266

This library features a variety of blinken effects for the WS2811/WS2812/NeoPixel LEDs. It is meant to be a drop-in replacement for the Adafruit NeoPixel library with additional features. You can search for WS2812FX in the Arduino IDE Library Manager or install the latest (or development) version manually. More complex effects can be created by dividing your string of LEDs into segments (up to ten) and programming each segment independently. Use the segment() function to program each segment's mode, color, speed, and direction (normal or reverse). Note, some effects make use of more than one color (up to three) and are programmed by specifying an array of colors. Random color introduced alternating from start and end of strip. Alternating white/red/black pixels running. Strobe effect with different strobe count and pause, controlled by speed setting. Classic Strobe effect. Cycling through the rainbow.

    FastFlow: programming multi-core

    FastFlow: programming multi-core

    Pattern-based multi/many-core parallel programming framework

FastFlow is a C/C++ programming framework supporting the development of pattern-based parallel programs on multi/many-core, GPUs and distributed platforms. FastFlow run-time is built upon non-blocking threads and lock-free queues. Thanks to its very efficient CAS-free communication/synchronization support (e.g. few clock cycles core-to-core latency), FastFlow effectively supports the exploitation of fine grain parallelism, e.g. parallel codes managing very high frequency streams on commodity multi-core. FastFlow works on x86, x86_64, PPC, ARM, and Linux, Mac and Win XP/7. From Jan 1, 2018 code development migrated on GitHub at https://github.com/fastflow/fastflow

    ImatiSTL

Fix STL files for 3D printing

ImatiSTL is a C++ library for applications that need to finely post-process raw polygon meshes represented by STL files. It is particularly useful in 3D printing scenarios: the repairing functions provided by ImatiSTL bridge the gap between printable meshes and real-world meshes with diverse potential defects and flaws (e.g. degenerate triangles, self-intersections, surface holes, ...). ImatiSTL provides both functions for local mesh repairing and methods for global remeshing. Local repairing is useful when the available data must remain exactly as it is in the input STL file, whereas global remeshing may fix even highly corrupted meshes at the cost of a small distortion in the resulting fixed mesh.

    Rotations Conversion Library

    Rotations Conversion Library

Library for working with 3D rotations in C++

The Rotations Conversion Library (RCL) is a collection of C++ functions that address common computations and numerical handling of rotations in 3D Euclidean space, including support for rotation matrices (`Rotmat`), Quaternions (`Quat`), intrinsic ZYX Euler angles (`Euler`), fused angles (`Fused`) and tilt angles (`Tilt`). In addition to the core competency of being able to convert between each of the representations, operations such as inversion, ZYX yaw extraction, fused yaw extraction, renormalisation, equality detection, vector rotation and much more have been implemented. Unit tests for each function are provided to ensure that the library performs exactly as it should. The implementation of the Rotations Conversion Library is based on the very related Matlab/Octave Rotations Library (MORL), which is a highly tested reference implementation for the required algorithms (see https://sourceforge.net/projects/rotationslib/).
