Stupid Notepad - The Simplest Notepad Ever! It's simply impossible to come up with something simpler. The program allows you to edit text files. You enter the path to the file and can view and edit it, as well as create new files. Why is this notepad stupid? Because it's extremely simple and primitive, making it understandable for everyone! The interface consists of just seven elements: - Text field for entering the file path; - "Browse..." button; - "Open" button; - "New" button; - "Save" button; - Text field for viewing and editing the file's text; - "Exit" button. This is my first even slightly useful Python program, so I'd be grateful if you'd test it and see if this stupid notepad proves useful! Stupid Notepad is an open source project. Cournal allows multiple users to annotate PDF files in real-time. The goal of this project is a full featured note taking application (like Xournal or Windows Journal), which allows multiple people to collaborate (like Gobby).

Everpad is a desktop integration layer that brings Evernote notes directly into the Linux environment, especially Ubuntu-based desktops. It runs a background service that syncs with your Evernote account and exposes your notes through an indicator applet and a Unity lens/search integration. The goal is to make Evernote feel like a native part of the desktop, so you can search, open, edit, and create notes without jumping to the web interface. It also supports note attachments, notebooks, and tags, so you can organize content in the same way you do on official Evernote clients. Because it plugs into the desktop search, you can surface notes alongside local files for faster retrieval. It was created to fill the gap for Linux users who didn’t have an official Evernote client but still wanted a smooth, native-like experience.
