Bandit is a tool designed to find common security issues in Python code. To do this, Bandit processes each file, builds an AST from it, and runs appropriate plugins against the AST nodes. Pylint is a static code analyzer for Python 2 or 3. The latest version supports Python 3.7.2 and above. Pylint analyses your code without actually running it.
