BitVisor is a tiny hypervisor initially designed for mediating I/O access from a single guest OS. Its implementation is mature enough to run Windows and Linux, and can be used as a generic platform for various research and development projects.

My changes to qemu for legacy free GPU passthrough. Only one adapter can use legacy vga regions at same time. This is an attemp to achieve a qemu gpu passthrough without legacy vga accesses to graphics card. Legacy io accesses to vga registers are replaced through MMIO accesses. Legacy accesses to vga memory are replaced through accesses to plain framebuffer. This avoids vga arbiter problems in linux kernel.

FastFlow is a C/C++ programming framework supporting the development of pattern-based parallel programs on multi/many-core, GPUs and distributed platforms. FastFlow run-time is built upon non-blocking threads and lock-free queues. Thanks to its very efficient CAS-free communication/synchronization support (e.g. few clock cycles core-to-core latency), FastFlow effectively supports the exploitation of fine grain parallelism, e.g. parallel codes managing very high frequency streams on commodity multi-core. FastFlow works on x86, x86_64, PPC, ARM, and Linux, Mac and Win XP/7. OpenGL apps running inside a VM use VMGL to obtain graphics hardware acceleration. VMGL supports VMware, Xen PV and HVM, qemu, and KVM VMs; X11-based OS such as Linux, FreeBSD and OpenSolaris; and ATI, Nvidia and Intel GPUs.

m23 is a free software distribution system (license: GPL), that installs (via network, starting with partitioning and formatting) and administrates (updates, adds / removes software, adds / removes scripts) clients with Debian, (X/K)Ubuntu and LinuxMint. It is used for deployment of Linux clients in schools, institutions and enterprises. The m23 server is controlled via a web interface. A new m23 client can be installed easily in only three steps. Group functions and mass installation tools make managing a vast number of clients comfortable. The integration of existing clients (with .deb-based distributions) into the system is possible, too. Client backup and server backup are included to avoid data loss. With the integrated virtualisation software, m23 can create and manage virtual m23 clients, that run on real m23 clients or the m23 server. Scripts and software packages (for installation on clients) can be created directly from the m23 web interface.

This project is used to simulate Bluetooth connections over TCP/IP. The server can run under Windows or Linux however Bluetooth devices can only be simulated on Linux for now. May be used to emulate Bluetooth connections between two virtual machines (e.g. VMware) running Linux. (The server would run on the host system in this case.)

CJKPython is internationalization and localization efforts for Chinese, Japanese and Korean environments on Python.

Manages a pool of zones that normal users can use. Zones (OpenSolaris containers) are efficiently cloned from a base zone so that building up and tearing down a devzone is fast (on the order of seconds).

Xvisor® is an open-source type-1 hypervisor, which aims at providing a monolithic, light-weight, portable, and flexible virtualization solution. It provides a high performance and low memory foot print virtualization solution for ARMv5, ARMv6, ARMv7a, ARMv7a-ve, ARMv8a, x86_64, and other CPU architectures. The Xvisor source code is highly portable and can be easily ported to most general-purpose 32-bit or 64-bit architectures as long as they have a paged memory management unit (PMMU) and a port of the GNU C compiler (GCC). Xvisor primarily supports Full virtualization hence, supports a wide range of unmodified Guest operating systems. Paravirtualization is optional for Xvisor and will be supported in an architecture independent manner (such as VirtIO PCI/MMIO devices) to ensure no-change in Guest OS for using paravirtualization.

eXtendBus is a device sharing mechanism for Virtualization Platform, specially designed for Xen hypervisor. eXtendBus attempts to modify Xen’s architectural features and combine it with extended device driver architecture.

Libinstrument is a complete and easy way to do custom function instrumentation for C/C++. The project comes ready with classic applications of instrumentation, such as AOP (Aspect Oriented Programming), Concern and Side Effect injection, stack tracing, exception tracing, basic time profiling, callgraph profiling and other. A GC (Garbage Collector) module is also under development. Libinstrument is highly portable and decoupled. The project comes with a CMake build system, integration with IDEs (CLion, Eclipse e.t.c) is straightforward. Using lazy algorithms there is virtually zero overhead in benchmarks and minimum overhead in execution time. Libinstrument tries to be as non-intrusive as possible, while trying to help the developer offering basic reflection. There are Unit Tests for each class and method, testing is driven with CTest.
