about
In his first single, 2021's cult smash "All This Art," British South Asian disco punk act Teenage Sequence exhorted white listeners to remember that the joke's on them— even when he's the punchline. Now, in brand new single "D.I.S. Connect," he's telling a dark new joke: a story about playing along with rich hipsters' exotic-lover fantasies in the hopes that it'll get him laid. For anyone who gets that being "woke" is sometimes less about high ideals and more about waking up in the wrong bed— or anyone who likes acid house synths and a fat disco bass— "D.I.S. Connect" will be a nastily irresistible ode to pretentious parties and holier-than-thou cliches.
lyrics
You got some dirty tricks
And bitten lips
Come on,
There’s something you wanna say
A cocaine shudder
Like no other
Come on,
Just get your words away
We can eat the rich
And danse macabre on their graves
So sorry, I think I just threw up in your Rene Lalique vase
In a vague attempt to communicate About class A’s and the master race There’s a sociopath lover girl
Hell bent on cumming in my face
I D.I.S Connect
This place is full of racists and my hair’s a fucking mess
Should have stayed home and masturbated but I followed the wrong head Just D.I.S Connect
You know some Berlin Tricks
Your friends are pricks
Come on,
There’s something you wanna say Your exotic lover, like no other
I’m yours to display
I feel kind of sick
I should probably get away
So sorry, I think I’ll just be leaving, but hey— thanks for letting me stay
This vague attempt to communicate Through class A’s and master race Here’s a sociopath lover girl
Hell bent on cumming in my face
I D.I.S Connect
This place is full of racists and my hair's a fucking mess
Should have stayed home and masturbated but I followed the wrong head Just D.I.S Connect

All the way through bourgeoisie That's quite cheap, but I’m quite broke Brunch tomorrow? Avocado toast. Prosecco mothers!
Aim for the throat!
Quinoa kids, they don’t smoke dope. It's not as subtle as it might seem
No, no, no
Don’t mind me.
