The India International Trade Fair (IITF) is a premier trade event that highlights India’s economic strength and cultural richness on a global platform. Inauguration of India International Trade Fair 2024 and government initiatives

On November 14, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal inaugurated the 43rd edition of IITF at the Bharat Mandapam in Delhi. During the event, he announced plans to expand the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) into a world-class agency that represents India’s entire industrial value chain.
Goyal highlighted the government’s vision to position India as a premier MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination. To achieve this, similar trade promotion facilities will be established in cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Lucknow, Varanasi, and Noida.

Trade Fair 2024: Ticket prices and accessibility

On business days (November 14 to November 18, 2024) ticket prices for both adults and children were as follows:
  • Adults: Rs 500
  • Children: Rs 150–Rs 200

On public days (November 19 to November 26, 2024) including the final day, ticket prices vary based on weekdays and weekends for both adults and children:
  • Weekdays: Rs 80 for adults, Rs 40 for children
  • Weekends: Rs 150 for adults, Rs 60 for children
