Bihar’s Anshika makes it to nat’l archery team
Patna: Bihar's Anshika Kumari has earned a prestigious spot in the senior Indian archery team that will represent the nation at the highly anticipated Archery World Cup 2025.
Announcing this on Monday, Bihar State Sports Authority (BSSA) director general and chief executive officer, Raveendran Sankaran, expressed pride in Anshika's remarkable achievement. "It is a moment of great joy and honour for Bihar that our very own daughter, Anshika, has been selected for the senior national archery team. She will join the ranks of renowned archers like Deepika Kumari, Ankita Bhakat and Simranjeet Kaur," he said.
"Her dedication and success will undoubtedly inspire countless young talents in Bihar to dream big and participate in competitive sports at the highest level," Sankaran added.
"Competing alongside some of the finest archers in the country, Anshika has proven her mettle and earned a place among India's elite. Her achievement is not only a proud moment for Bihar but also a powerful reminder of the untapped potential in the state's sporting community," the official said.
With the Archery World Cup 2025 on the horizon, all eyes will now be on Anshika as she represents the nation and strives for excellence on the global stage.
