Gujarat: In Gujarat, the Tropic of Cancer slices through Jasdan (Saurashtra region). Jasdan is renowned for its handicrafts and diamond polishing industry. It holds historical significance as a former princely state within the Saurashtra region of British India, and was established prior to 1665 under the governance of the Kathi Kshatriya dynasty.
Madhya Pradesh: Moving eastward, the Tropic of Cancer meanders through Dhar and Jhabua in Madhya Pradesh. The hilly and undulating hilly terrain of Dhar and Jhabua is perfect for that offbeat road trip you’ve been craving for.

Tripura: In Tripura, the Tropic of Cancer crosses Udaipur, which is also one of the hottest places in the state. The best time to visit Udaipur is in winter when the temperature is bearable and outdoor exploration isn’t a pain.
Mizoram: In Mizoram, the Tropic of Cancer traverses through lush hills, verdant valleys, and vibrant tribal cultures. We are talking about Champhai in Mizoram. When compared to other Tropic of Cancer sites in India, Champhai enjoys a milder climate. It’s quite offbeat and untouched, but pleasant nonetheless.
