Bigg Boss 18: Shilpa Shirodkar gets eliminated from the show; Karan Veer Mehra and Vivian Dsena break down into tears

Bigg Boss 18 has entered its finale week, and viewers are eagerly anticipating the announcement of the season's finalists. With all the contestants facing mid-week nominations, the recent episode witnessed Shilpa Shirodkar getting eliminated from the competition just before the grand finale.
Omung Kumar, the creative mastermind behind Bigg Boss, made a special appearance in the house today to distribute hand-written messages to the contestants. He also delivered a note from Bigg Boss addressed to Shilpa, officially announcing her eviction. Regarded as one of the strongest participants this season, the veteran actress, unfortunately, missed securing a place in the top 6 of Salman Khan's show.

The announcement brought tears to the eyes of all the contestants. Karan Veer Mehra, Vivian Dsena, and Chum Darang broke down as they said an emotional goodbye to Shilpa Shirodkar. Vivian Dsena apologised to Shilpa Shirodkar for her behaviour. As Shilpa prepared to exit the house, Karan rushed to the bedroom and returned with his medal, which he gifted to her. Despite their frequent clashes throughout the season, both Karan and Vivian shared a heartfelt moment with Shilpa, hugging and kissing her as they bid her farewell.
Bigg Boss praised Shilpa before she left the house and said 'Shilpa khup khup abhaar'.
When Omung Kumar joined the show, he handed Shilpa Shirodkar a heartfelt letter from her husband, followed by the note announcing her eviction. Shilpa became emotional as she read her husband’s message, where he expressed how much the family missed her during her time in the house. Tears streamed down Shilpa’s cheeks as she read her husband’s heartfelt letter, in which he praised her for the inspiring journey she had on the show.
Following Shilpa Shirodkar’s elimination, Karan Veer Mehra, Vivian Dsena, Chum Darang, Eisha Singh, Avinash Mishra, and Rajat Dalal remain in the running to claim the Bigg Boss 18 trophy. The grand finale is set to air on Sunday, January 19, 2025, starting at 9:30 PM.
