One such popular anime is ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.’ Every season brought new excitement to the fans, but sadly for them, there would not be a sixth season.
This has been reported by What’s On Netflix. However, one more piece of news that can change the frown. Starting in 2025, the ‘Demon Slayer’ story will conclude with a trilogy of films. It will be covering the events of the Infinity Castle Arc.
These three films will be released theatrically outside Japan, confirmed Crunchyroll. For those wondering why a trilogy, in the manga, the Final Battle Arc has Infinity Castle Arc and Sunrise Countdown Arc. There are 66 chapters, almost a third of the Demon Slayer story. With so much action and drama, only a trilogy can do justice to ‘Demon Slayer.’
Further, though the exact date of the release hasn’t been announced, it is expected to be released in theaters in 2025. As far as the OTT release is concerned, no official confirmation has been given on whether or not the trilogy will end on Netflix.
