C1 – Commission C1 Astronomy Education and Development

Description

C1 is a Commission within Division C of the IAU. This Commission seeks to further the development and improvement of astronomical education at all levels throughout the world through various projects developed and maintained by the Commission and by disseminating information concerning astronomy education.

Four Working Groups were established to realize specific objectives of C1: Astronomy Competitions for Secondary School Students, Astronomy Education Research & Methods, Astronomy Education Resources (AstroEDU), and Network for Astronomy School Education (NASE).
