Important Rotary Switch and operation- 110 Volts DC supply is very much important for operation of SLRD
1) First we press 110 V DC supply ON push (S2S84), the indication of 110 DC supply OK (S2H21)
will glow.

(2) If 110 V Dc supply is not showing ON than, ,the “110 V DC By pass switch(S2S11)” will required
to ON for DC supply in emergency condition. When by pass switch will 110V By pass indication
(S2H22) will glow.

Emergency Stop switch-
NOTE- This switch is push in case of emergency for disconnection all supply
system. In normally it will be kept ON otherwise system of SLRD will not fuction.
Supply system in SLRD- There are 5 type of supply in SLRD panel.
(A) 110 Volts DC- taken from 110 V battery bank of SLRD itself for-
(i) Operation(coil voltage) of Feeder contactor (K1,K3), Bus-coupler contactor(K2)
(ii) Operation (coil voltage) of NWP & WP contactor(K4,5,6,7)

(B) 24V DC supply- obtain from DC to DC convertor( 110V /24VDC) –for
(i) Operation of Different Auxiliary relay of control circuit- like
K8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,25
(ii) For operation of RA HOG enable control contactor( S2KRA-HA & S2KRA-HB )
(C) 415 V AC supply obtain from control transformer (750V/415V) for
(i) For operation (coil voltage) of HOG main contactor- A&B
(D) 3 phase 750 V from LOCO
(E) 110 Volts DC- from LOCO for HOG control/interlocking circuit
NOTE- 110 V supply from LOCO & 110 V DC supply from SLRD will always kept separate,
don’t mix.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
110 DC not getting
Check position of E/stop switch it should be ON condition
Check MCB SM18 for trip also check 110V DC at in/out put terminal
DC 110 V input

If 110V not coming in MCB check the DC voltage in coaches DB box or
provide 110 V DC from adjacent coaches.
If 110V available at MCB output and check K 49 has pick up or NOT.
Check MCB M16
MCB M16 K49
Lastly ON the By DC supply switch and record in log book.
24 V DC supply not getting
Check the 24 V supply Switch (S2S23 )is in ON condition. And S2K20
contactor has pick up or not.
Check DC TO DC convertor MCB (S2M11,S2M12)
Check Fuse F401 & F402
Check the DC to DC convertor for Healthy.

Check the correct position of following rotary switch 1) convertor plant
selection switch(S2S52) (2) RA-A/HOG- SEL.switch A&B (3) Convertor ON

Check fuse F502 & F503 (110V Dc from Loco)
Check 110V DC supply from LOCO at terminal 11,12 of UIC. IF supply
not coming than interchange UIC coupler at LOCO for insure the 110 V
supply coming from LOCO.
Also check position of E/stop switch.
Press the reset button if convertor fault indication are glowing
Lastly check continuity between ZS coupler point NO-7 and UIC socket
point no 11 of power car. Also check S2HK1 &S2H
Safety loop fuse

Insure K15 for safety loop A and K18 for safety loop B has pick up or
Not.
Feeder not working
Check the MCB M1 & M 13 for Feeder A and M3 & M 15 for feeder B
Insure K12 & Auxiliary S2K1A for Feeder A and K13 & auxiliary S2K3A
for feeder B has pick up or Not.
Bus coupler not working
Check the MCB M2A & M2B
Check contactor K 10( when A working) ,K11 (when B working) has pick up or not
Check MCB M14 Auxiliary contactor S2K2A has pick up or not
NWP and WP not working
Check the correct position of WP-A/NWP-A SEL.switch-(S2S03) and WP-B/NWP-B
