MULTIMEDIA Communication
Multimedia : multi – many; media – medium of communication
Either single media or many media of communication
Combining multiple media formats – text, image, audio, video are combined in
results of MM
MM means the computer information can be represented through Audio, Video and
graphics
The Combinations are image, text, video and sound, text and pictures called MM
component

MULTIMEDIA Communication
MM is interactive media – provides multiple ways to represent information to the
users in a powerful manner – it provides an interactive btw users and digital
information
MM is computerized methods of presenting information combining textual data,
audio, visuals and graphics and animations
Multimedia consists of multimedia data + set of interactions
Multimedia data is the collection of 3 Ms: multisource, multi-type and multi-format
data
