Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent has admitted to putting breast milk in her morning cup of coffee - but there's good reason why.

Kent, 34, is a mom of two girls - welcoming her first daughter, Ocean, with ex-fiancé Randall Emmett in March 2021, and second child Sosa via a sperm donor in September 2024.

The former Bravo star has shared a lot about her motherhood journey, including her desire to have a second child, which she opened up about on the last season of the reality series.

However, during a recent appearance on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, she revealed that she had poured some breast milk in her coffee that morning because she didn't want any of it to go to waste.

'Can I tell you something? So, I pumped when I got here, but there was nowhere to put my breast milk to save... I put it in my coffee and drank 10 ounces of breast milk this morning,' she told host Amanda Hirsch.

'I'm not gonna dump it down the sink!' Kent added.

The Give Them Lala Beauty founder also shared that she was 'never married' to the idea of breast feeding, but was lucky that she had a lot of milk come in and was able to do so.

And, according to Women's Health, drinking your own breast milk is 'absolutely safe,' as they explored the topic after Susan O'Brien of New Zealand was running a 20K trail race and drank her own milk for survival.

OB-GYN Mary Jane Minkin, M.D., clinical professor at the Yale School of Medicine, told the outlet at the time that because the milk comes from your own body, 'the bacteria that's in the fluid is completely okay for you to consume.'

Kent isn't the only celebrity who has dared to drink their own breast milk, either.

Last year, Kourtney Kardashian told the world that she drank an entire glass of her breast milk because she wasn't feeling well.

'This filter is crazy and I just pounded a glass of breast milk because I feel sick. goodnight,' she wrote in an Instagram post last April.

The Kardashian had been breastfeeding her baby son Rocky Thirteen, who is now one.

However, according to Parents, although breast milk can have healing benefits for babies, it may not have the same advantages for adult moms.

Kent's breast milk admission comes just two months after Bravo announced a complete recast for hit show Vanderpump Rules.

The show, which premiered in January 2013, has seen 11 seasons since.

Vanderpump Rules skyrocketed to viral fame during its tenth season, after 'Scandoval' was exposed.

It turned out that Tom Sandoval had been cheating on his longtime girlfriend, Ariana Madix, with Rachel Leviss, another member of the cast.

'The decision to scrap the cast had nothing to do with ratings,' a source told DailyMail.com exclusively in November.

'There was simply nothing more that was left to say. The story had been told,' they continued.

The insider stressed that the dynamics between the cast members had severed and there was no longer any 'truth' to their friendships and their work at Lisa Vanderpump's SUR restaurant.

'In the beginning, Vanderpump Rules was about a group of people who were genuinely friends,' the source said.

'They were roommates and had a close bond with each other. They also worked at SUR.'

They continued: 'In the end none of this was true anymore. They were not friends. Hardly any of them talked to each other and they no longer worked at the restaurant. They all knew after the finale last season that there was nothing left to tell.

'Fans knew this too. It is sad how divided they had become. They knew that they were not returning when time came to shoot a new season and it was put on pause.'

The source went on to confirm that the new cast has yet to be locked in, but insisted that they will all work at Lisa Vanderpump's restaurants, mainly SUR, and will have authentic relationships.
