Most people would turn their noses up if any of these dishes were place in front of them at dinner time.
However, a blog is celebration all things weird and wonderful in the world of food - showcasing photos of contributors' meals which more often than not look as though they only just pass as food.
Many of the meals on 'Someone Ate This' feature odd and unexpected combinations, including a poppadom filled with carrot, peas and ham, sat atop a pile of Fruit Loops, rice and beans in a sauce..

The pictures are sent into the blog, which is hosted on Tumblr, via email.
The creators of the blog wrote on the homepage that it 'is a food blog that celebrates the hilarity of cooking mishaps, bad food photography, and the grossest things people shove down their throats.'
The pictures of the rather unappetising meals have hundred of likes and shares each.

Another photo that had been sent in features some tortillas filled with a combination of tuna and slimy pasta.

Even by looking at the photos of these unappetising dishes, it's difficult to tell what ingredients have gone into making them. A dish of what seems to be a version of lasagna with pale cheese sauce and pools of brown liquid also appears on the blog.
As does a very slimy looking portion of what appears to be bacon and cheese on dry toast and a plate of cheese and tomato pasta with meatballs.
A pair of very soggy looking chilli dogs, made by someone who is clearly a condiments enthusiast, also appear on the site.
There is also an image of processed cheese, grey-coloured mince on top of a wet tortilla chip covered in a watery sauce, which is enough to put anyone off their dinner.
