McDonald's launches its new Christmas menu featuring two new burgers and the Festive Pie - a hot pudding featuring MINCEMEAT and custard

McDonald's unleashed its Christmas menu this week, offering new festive options as part of its Signature Collection.
The five menu items feature two new burgers - Festive Feast with sweet cure bacon and cheese and Spicy Chicken Winter Melt - and three returning favourites, Cheese Melt Dippers, Galaxy® Caramel McFlurry and Festive Pie.
Prices start at around £6.19 for a meal and £4.69 a la carte.

The Festive Feast with sweet cure bacon and cheese features a 100 per cent British and Irish beef patty topped with bacon rashers, black pepper cheese slices, red onion rings, Batavia lettuce, doused in creamy black pepper mayo and encased in a toasted bun.

Those who prefer chicken might prefer the second burger option.
The Spicy Chicken Winter Melt is a crispy coated chicken breast fillet, Emmental cheese slice, roasted pepper sauce, onions, mayo and Batavia lettuce in a toasted sesame seed topped bun.
For pudding have the Festive Pie which features mincemeat and custard (left) or Galaxy McFlurry (right), soft dairy ice-cream with milk chocolate pieces and swirls of caramel sauce
The chain's popular Cheese Melt Dippers return as a festive side - four breaded cheese dippers made with Camembert and served with a festive tomato dip.
For pudding you can opt for a Galaxy Caramel McFlurry or choose the Yuletide variation of the classic apple pie, the Festive Pie which features mincemeat and custard.
McDonald's Yuletide burgers comes hot on the heels of Burger King's seasonal treats, which made their appearance last week.
The Meat Lovers Whopper sandwich combines a Whopper patty topped with tasty chorizo, chipotle sauce and creamy mayo.
Cheese lovers can indulge in a Quattro Cheese Whopper sandwich; a patty topped with a crunchy cheese patty and a layer of cheddar cheese sauce.
For chicken fans, the Quattro Cheese Tendercrisp - which also features a crunchy cheese patty, should suit.

The new line-up also features two new sides - Shaker Fries with a sprinkling of BBQ seasoning, and chicken strips with a barbecue dipping sauce,

All burgers will be available from the recommended price of £4.99 for the burger or £6.69 for a meal as part of the Winter Whopperland line up available until 12 January.
