The family of a woman who was found dead in her apartment on Thursday have penned a heartfelt homage to their wife and mother.
Former model Maureen Boyce, 68, was found dead with a stab wound to her stomach on Thursday in her penthouse on Goodwin St in east Brisbane's Kangaroo Point.
Her daughter Angelique, son Zachary, and husband Graham Boyce wrote a touching tribute to Mrs Boyce that detail some of the lesser known events of her life, reports Courier Mail.

'Mum was larger than life and a unique, veracious, colourful person, but always loved by all she touched with her kind-hearted, generous and friendly nature,' the tribute reads.
'She was always there for all of us whenever we needed her, able to reassure, comfort, and advise with unconditional love and affection,' they said. 'She was so much more than her public persona as a fashionista high-profile socialite.'
It discusses her fruitful modelling career which saw work across Australia, the United States and Britain.
The tribute also details her fervently religious views, revealing she never travelled overseas without her Bible.

It comes after Boyce's former lover was charged with her murder.
Thomas Lang, 63, who had reportedly been living with Ms Boyce and found her body on the floor of the master bedroom in her lavish Kangaroo Point apartment on Thursday, was taken into custody on Friday evening, a Queensland Police spokesman said.
He had reportedly travelled from New Zealand to re-kindle a relationship with Ms Boyce when the alleged murder happened, the Courier Mail reported.
He body was found in a Brisbane apartment early on Thursday morning after a neighbour reported hearing a party there the night before
She listed her apartment for $3.7million in July, however it was still for sale in October before being withdrawn.
Ms Boyce, 68, bought the luxurious four-bedroom sub-penthouse in Kangaroo Point for $1.7 million in November 2003 and was residing in the home with her reported partner
The apartment was listed for sale for $3.7 million in July and spent 88 days on the market.
