Ronaldinho set to complete return to Gremio as AC Milan agree to let Brazil star leave
Ronaldinho is set to complete an emotional homecoming to Gremio with the Brazilian outfit set to announce his arrival from AC Milan.

Homecoming: Ronaldinho is set to rejoin Gremio
Blackburn Rovers had launched an ambitious attempt to lure the former two-time FIFA player of the year to Ewood Park but the playmaker rejected a lucrative offer understood to be worth in the region of £20million.
The 30-year-old former Barcelona superstar is set to end a 10-year playing spell in Europe for a return to his homeland after his brother and agent Roberto Assis revealed the player and Serie A side Milan are in the final stages of negotiating his exit.
Ronaldinho is expected to sign a release from his Milan contract this evening after arriving in Rio de Janerio and may immediately announce deal with Gremio, who are making plans to unveil him on Friday.
Corinthians, Palmeiras and Flamengo remain in the running to sign Ronaldinho but the player has his heart set on a return to the club where he began his illustrious career in 1998.
'If it was down to me I would already be a Gremio player,' he told Brazilian broadcasters Globo TV on Wednesday.

Over and out: Ronaldinho enjoyed a celebrated ten-year playing spell in Europe
'I am not an auction object for sale. The problem is not the deal I have been offered, but what Milan are asking for. My desire is to wear the Gremio jersey.'
