A former Swansea and Leeds United player has reacted angrily after received one of the fastest red cards ever seen.

Andy Robinson, who has come out of retirement to play for Stockport this season in the National League North, was dismissed barely 30 seconds after coming off the bench.

The midfielder, who twice won promotion out of League One in his career, committed the offence within a couple of seconds of entering the pitch.

Having had his studs checked, at length, by the linesman, Robinson entered the field, only for the linesman to immediately signal something was wrong.

The official then told the referee that Robinson had committed an offence, reportedly swearing at him as he came onto the field, for which he was shown a red card, his appearance lasting just 30 seconds - none of which time the ball was in play.

'I just from the bottom of my heart can not apologise for something I never did. Disgusted will get justice'

Stockport lost the game by a single first-half goal to nil, and are currently sixth in the table.
