Bolton are being tipped to go on an extended run in the UEFA Cup after reaching the knockout stages thanks to a 1-1 draw against Spanish side Sevilla.
Sam Allardyce's team clinched a place in the last 32 after getting the point they needed in Group H.
Bruno N'Gotty stepped off the bench to make the breakthrough for Bolton with his first goal in 23 months in the 65th minute, getting on the end of a corner from Khalilou Fadiga.
However substitute Adriano brought the sides level nine minutes later with a clinical finish.
Sevilla coach Juande Ramos believes Bolton can give any team a game at the Reebok Stadium. "They can get through a few more rounds yet and go far in the competition," he said.
Ramos added: "Bolton are a difficult team to play against. They are direct and a lot of their players are good in the air.
"They will threaten teams, especially at home, and create problems for them.
"Any side like Bolton that is high in the Premiership has to be respected."
Bolton will now play their first leg of the next round at home against one of the group leaders on February 13.
Allardyce is thrilled at how far they have come already.
"It's a great feeling for me and the lads, and we can look forward to the draw on Friday," said the Bolton boss.
"This is a great occasion in terms of what we have achieved. If the draw is kind to us, who knows how far we can go. The lads do not want to lose out in any competition. They are hungry for success."
