The birthday posts on his Instagram story ended with a photo of him holding his son alongside the caption: 'Happy Birthday Ma' and a group picture at a restaurant with the caption: 'Family.'
On Tuesday McGregor claimed to have surpassed Cristiano Ronaldo in the list of highest-paid athletes in the world – as he predicted back in 2016.
As well as the Irishman's money-spinning boxing bout with Floyd Mayweather last summer — from which he is believed to have pocketed about £100million — he has secured lucrative endorsement deals with Burger King and Beats by Dre.
In 2016-17, McGregor was ranked 24th in Forbes' list of highest-paid sports stars but is expected to rocket up that list for the 2017-18 instalment.
He then posted a picture of himself holding his son with the caption: 'Happy Birthday Ma'
Last year's rankings, released two months before the Mayweather-McGregor showdown, disclosed that the 29-year-old earned £19.5m from fighting and a further £5m in endorsements.
Ronaldo, on the other hand, earned £42m from football and bonuses as well as a staggering £25m from endorsements which saw him top the list.
In an Instagram post McGregor wrote: 'Making deals and TAKING deals! Kings recognise Kings!
His series of posts on his Instagram story concluded with a group family photo at a restaurant
'I am also really interested to see this years Forbes highest paid athletes list. I have now surpassed Cristiano Ronaldo as I told him I would in 2016.
'Floyd as a retired fighter that makes ZERO substantial revenue outside of them ropes is not on the list, and in the long game, is already dead.
'Mixed Martial Arts is a glorious game, Floyd. You are going to love it hahaha.'
