The Masked Singer has been flooded with furious complaints from fans, who claim the new cliffhanger twist is 'ruining the show'.
The beloved ITV gameshow sees famous faces dress up in elaborate costumes and take to the stage to belt out a song, with a panel of judges guessing who is behind the mask.
And as it made its return to screens on Saturday, host Joel Dommett was joined by panelists Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan, newbie Maya Jama, and guest judge Mo Farah.
Usually, one celebrity is voted out of the competition at the end of each episode and their true identity is revealed.
As the show kicked off its sixth season, at the end of the vote like normal, Joel got the crowd to chant 'Take it off!' as viewers at home waited eagerly to see the big reveal.
But, to fans anger, he stopped and announced that if viewers wanted to find out who Spag Bol was - who received some of the fewest votes and was chosen by the judges to be unmasked - they would have to tune into the show tomorrow.

Fans rushed to social media to bash the cliffhanger as a 'complete waste of time,' with some claiming they won't be watching the rest of the season.
Viewers quipped on X: 'Nah f*** off #MaskedSingerUK. This better not become a theme. Unmask on the night!'
'WTF was that ending!!! #MaskedSingerUK.'
'#MaskedSingerUK Nope. Not having that. What's the point of making us wait? Kinda kills the whole point of the show. If they do that every episode I tech just need to watch the first few mins of each and not the rest. Suppose it saves time.'
'After a Christmas special that was 40 minutes of adverts to a first episode of a new season with no celeb reveal… complete waste of time - not gonna bother watching the rest of the season #MaskedSingerUK.'
'#MaskedSingerUK NOT OK! I do not endure all that to have to wait till the next show for the reveal!'
'Really? No unmasking? Those who are watching tonight will surely tune in tomorrow as they enjoy the show! Seems like a really poor "cliff hanger" viewer grab which isn't much fun for us to be invested in hahah #MaskedSingerUK.'
'ITV need to be careful because they'll ruin this show before long. I pray they dont mess with the format like that again #MaskedSingerUK.'
'Got all excited for the reveals for nothing, THANKS A LOT JOEL THANKS A LOT #maskedsingeruk.'

'No need for that, if people want to watch tomorrow night they will, all that proves is that ITV are desperate for the viewing figures #MaskedSingerUK.'
'Come back tomorrow to find out who spag bol is? Is this some sort of sick joke? #MaskedSingerUK.'
'This new format sucks. #MaskedSingerUK.'
In the episode, Dressed Crab, Spag Bol, Snail, Tattoo, Teeth, and King Fisher, all put on showstopping performances.
However, Spag Bol and Teeth were in the bottom two, and the judges opted to save Teeth.
On a more positive note, the programme did finally reveal the identity of Giant Joel, leaving fans shocked, however it seems Maya Jama had already spoiled the surprise.
Saturday's episode kicked off by unmasking Sir Mo Farah as the star posing as host Joel Dommett's doppelganger.
The character has been teased since the end of the Christmas special, which aired on Boxing Day.

Mo Gilligan guessed it was Mark Wright, while Davina McCall and Maya Jama went for Ant and Dec, but it was Jonathan Ross who got it right, by guessing it was the Olympic legend.
However, earlier in the day Maya appeared to accidentally let Giant Joel's identity slip as she took to Instagram with a selection of snaps from her first episode on the ITV show.
Posing in a selfie with Mo, one fan appeared to clock on as they warned the panelist, writing: 'The 6th one… you may wish to delete that.'
Although, Maya made sure to confirm that it was public knowledge that Mo was going to be a guest panelist.
Joel also revealed that his wife Hannah Cooper has said he is not allowed to keep the costume following the show as they don't have space.
He said: 'My wife has said that I’m not allowed to keep it because we don’t have space, so I have told her that we need to buy a marginally bigger house.
'Maybe we can turn it upside down and turn it into a really cool laundry bin or something.'
The presenter revealed that he has only shown Hannah the doppelganger and is 'excited' for the rest of his family to see it on the show.

He added: 'I actually haven’t shown my family yet! I’m excited for them to see it. The only thing weirder than watching your son on the telly is watching a big version of your son on telly standing next to your son on telly!'
It comes after Joel revealed the awkward blunder he made when Maya Jama first joined the judging panel on The Masked Singer.
The show host, 39, said viewers should brace themselves for 'twists and turns' as the new series of episodes are set to air, adding that he even saw one contestant storm off the stage.
Series three, which aired on Saturday, January, 4, 2025 at 7pm on ITV1, was also the first time fans saw Maya's debut as a panelist on the show.
Opening up on what it was like to film with the Love Island host, 30, Joel told The Sun he made one gaffe that made him 'feel really bad'.
Explaining that he doesn't really keep up with gossip, the presenter explained: 'I remember, during the recording, I kept on singing a Stormzy song and then I felt really bad about it.
'I've got this song in my head, I can't stop singing it, then someone sort of dragged me aside and said, 'That's someone that just broke up'.
Stormzy and Maya announced their shock split in July 2024 after taking to Instagram with a joint statement stating: 'We fell madly in love in 2014, broke up in 2019, and then spent five years manoeuvring life apart.
They confirmed the breakup was 'final' after previously going their separate ways following a five year relationship in 2019 and reconnecting in August 2023.
