'Find a partner that's in Stranger Things!' Lily Allen jokes about the budget for her incredible home renovations in New York
Lily Allen jokingly advised her fans to 'find a partner that's in Stranger Things' when thinking about budgeting as she appeared on Capital Breakfast on Monday.
The singer-turned-actress, 37, married David Harbour, 47, who plays Jim Hopper in Stranger Things, in 2020.
Speaking on Capital Breakfast with Will Manning, who was standing in for Roman Kemp, she revealed her secrets behind the unique decorations in her Brooklyn Townhouse.
Will asked: 'I watched your Architectural Digest feature in my tiny box flat with my fifty quid IKEA furniture. Are there any tips you can spread to people just to snazz things up a bit on a budget?
The Smile songstress immediately shot in with a witty response, showing her quick sense of humour.

She joked: 'Find a partner that's in Stranger Things… I'm joking, take risks, lots of times we talked about things and people would discourage us from doing them.
'We were like, "you only live once, let's paint the ceiling green, let's put carpet in the bathroom!''.
The Stranger Things star and British singer gave a tour of their New York home with Architectural Digest in February.
People had things to say about their 'controversial' choices within the home, including a bathtub on a carpet, and some complaining that their bedroom had no windows.
Joking about the negative comments from the public, David wrote on his Instagram page: 'Weigh in on our controversial 'tub-on-carpet' living. Join. The. Convo.

Lily and David tied the knot in a surprise wedding in 2020 in Las Vegas, in a unique ceremony that saw them grab a burger while still in wedding dress.
In snaps shared from the ceremony, Lily opted for a short 60s-inspired Dior dress to exchange vows with a suited and booted David, before celebrating their union with dinner at the fast food chain In-N-Out.
Lily shared three snaps from her wedding with a trio of heart emojis, with the first showing her and David mere seconds after exchanging their vows.
The snap showed Elvis Presley impersonator and chapel co-owner Brendan Paul who wed the couple, alongside the happy couple with their hands held.
Lily shares two daughters, Ethel, 11 and Marnie, ten, with her ex-husband Sam Cooper.
She has recently ventured into the world of acting and is making her TV debut in the new comedy series Dreamland alongside co-star and Doctor Who alum Freema Agyeman.
