'I have never been to a nightclub': Blake Lively prefers to stay home and cook

As one of the rising young stars of the acting world, with all the advantages that brings, there are many who might be envious of Blake Lively's life.

But the Gossip Girl star has revealed that it is a lot less exciting than it loks - and that unlike most girls her age she never even goes out to party.

'I don't think I've ever been to a club other than to see a band or if the Gossip Girl producers are throwing an after party specifically for us to go to, or the red carpet,' she admitted in an interview for Australian Cosmopolitan.

'But I have never gone out, just to go out, because I don't really find it that fun. I like to go and listen to live music and stuff, so that's when I'll go out.'

Blake, who plays Serena van der Woodsen onscreen, says she likes to watch French art films, and that she is a good cook and makes an 'amazing' Dutch apple pancake.

When not working the 23-year-old revealed she likes to explore New York City and that she loves 'going to Central Park and watching movies.'

She also talks about her love of fashion, hardly a surprise for the girl just namd as the face of Chanel handbags.

But while her quiet life may have done wonders for Blake's health, it isn't likely to sell many copies of the magazine.

A recent report by Women's Wear Daily revealed that she is the star least likely to shift copies of a magazine.

While pop star Lady Gaga's appearance on the cover invariably leads to record sales, Blake was on the cover of the second worst–selling issue of US Vogue in June. Her Esquire cover was the year’s worst-seller.
