Smiling Jennifer Love Hewitt puts on a brave face after split from Alex Beh

Jennifer Love Hewitt is clearly not planning on moping around in the wake of her split from boyfriend Alex Beh.

The 32-year-old actress was spotted out and about yesterday putting on a brave face as she embarked upon her newly-single life.

Despite her heartache, Jennifer still managed a spring in her step as she paid a visit to a coffee shop in Studio City, Los Angeles.

'They haven't been dating for a little while,' a spokesperson for the Ghost Whisperer star told US Weekly Magazine.

Jennifer began dating 27-year-old Alex last July, less than four months after her split from her Ghost Whisperers co-star Jamie Kennedy who she dated for a year.

Before that she was engaged to Scottish actor Ross McCall.

The pair met in late 2005 on the set of Ghost Whisperers and began dating.

They got engaged in late 2007 but called off the engagement a year later.

The actress, who rose to fame through her role in the US show Party Of Five, had also been linked with a string of male celebrities including Carson Daly, John Mayer and Joey Lawrence.

She previously frightened men everywhere by admitting she has three engagement rings already picked out at high end jeweller Tiffany's just in case.

She told Ellen DeGeneres on her chat show back in January: '“If it gets to that conversation. If marriage comes up, I’m like, “You know what’s so weird. There is this store and there are three rings in it… And if you chose one of these three, I’m going to be really excited.

'And if you go off on your own, we can have an awful, awkward moment. So why would you want to do that?'

Just last week Jennifer was spotted out shopping in Beverly Hills alone and looking rather down in the dumps.
