Besties forever! Keira Knightley and co-star Chloe Moretz cuddle up on the carpet at the premiere of their film Laggies at Sundance
They play pals in their movie despite a 16-year age gap.
And a smiling Keira Knightley and Chloe Moretz certainly looked like besties as they walked the carpet for the premiere of Laggies at the Sundance Film Festival in chilly Park City, Utah, on Friday.
With the temperature in the low 40s Fahrenheit, both put warmth ahead of glamour when it came to dressing up.
Cuddling up: Keira Knightley put her arm around co-star Chloe Moretz's shoulders at the premiere of their movie, Laggies, at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, on Friday
Keira, 28, wore a long grey jumper cinched with a black belt to accentuate her tiny waist, over a black skirt with a layer of grey lace in complicated flower patterns.
She donned sensible black ankle boots for walking on the city's treacherously icy pavements.
The Pirates Of The Caribbean star wore her shoulder-length brunette tresses simply styled to frame her lightly made-up face.
Covering up: The 28-year-old wore a black coat that she took off for photographers
Keira had on a black overcoat when she arrived but gamely took it off for photographers.
But she might have been a bit chilly, as she cuddled up to 16-year-old Chloe on the carpet.
The teenager must have been feeling the cold as she had flown in from Los Angeles the previous day where the temperatures were an unseasonably hot 80F.
Shooting starlet: The 16-year-old looked cute and chic in a shiny silver tunic and black boots
Chloe looked cute and chic in a short, sleeveless silver tunic with a black design that she wore over a cosy black polo-neck jumper teamed with black-knee-high boots.
The Carrie starlet's nails were painted black to match her outfit and her blonde hair was pulled back off her face in a bun.
In director Lynn Shelton's Laggies, which is a slang term for someone who is lagging behind their peers, Keira plays 28-year-old Megan who works at her father’s accounting company as a sign spinner while her high school friends all start to get married and advance in their careers.
Question time: Keira chatted to the media on the carpet before the premiere of Laggies
When her boyfriend proposes, Megan panics. She lies to her boyfriend about going on a business trip, then hides at the home of her 16-year-old friend, Annika, played by Chloe, and her attractive, single dad (Sam Rockwell).
Unlike the character she plays, Keira doesn't suffer from wedding nerves. Last year, she married Klaxons keyboardist James Righton last May in the South of France after dating for two years. The pair live in London.
Sundance founder Robert Redford opened the festival for indie films on Thursday, which runs until January 26.
