'I'm pretty sure we'll make another Star Trek film in 2015': Chris Pine lets slip during chat show visit that he'll step back into James T. Kirk's boots
The Star Trek movie franchise looks as if it will continue to live long and prosper.
While appearing on Good Morning America on Tuesday, Chris Pine revealed he could work on yet another film based on the popular TV series. And that sequel could begin filming as soon as 2015.
‘We’re always the last to know as the actors,' the star - who has played James T. Kirk in the films - explained, 'But there’s a script out there somewhere, and I’m pretty sure we’ll get to making it sometime next year.'

According to Deadline, the franchise is searching for a new director with The Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes director Rupert Wyatt as a possible front-runner.
Into The Darkness, which was released in 2013, was the space epic's last sequel.
While on GMA, Chris was dressed in a blue button-down shirt and jeans. He was on the morning show to promote his latest film, Into The Woods, with Meryl Streep that has a Christmas Day release.

The heartthrob, who plays Prince Charming in the adaptation of the Sondheim Broadway show, said of his role, 'All of these other characters are going through these human journeys that are nuanced and complex, and Cinderella's prince is just kind of blissfully two-dimensional.'
He added: 'He's very much the selfie-generation. He's the absolute narcissist.'
On how he prepared to belt out tunes in the fairly tale musical, he revealed to People at the Horrible Bosses 2 LA premiere in November that he went to a singing coach, calling it an 'incredible challenge in this past year that I had a lot of fun with.'

Last month on Ellen DeGeneres' show, Chris teased viewers with his pipes by performing a few lines from Frank Sinatra's Summer Wind for a fan.
Seeing the audience swoon over the Hollywood hunk, the comedienne asked about his love life. 'I'm a single man,' he responded.
His most recent romantic connection was with former Icelandic beauty queen Íris Björk Jóhannesdóttir, who was crowned Miss Reykjavik in 2010 at the age of 20.
