Alas no, it was a bushy-bearded Leonardo DiCaprio with a paddle in hand and a board under his feet as he hit the open sea with a friend's daughter in tow.
The actor looked like he was chaperoning the child as they enjoyed a sunny Sunday in Malibu.

No doubt Leo wanted to share his love of the ocean with his pal's kid, as he is known as much for his environmentalism as he is for his acting.
Recently, the 40-year-old helped fulfill Adrian Grenier's fundraising campaign on Kickstarter to fund his Loneliest Whale documentary by donating $50,000.
The Titanic star stepped in just in time as the campaign had 20 hours remaining.
Leo posted on Twitter: 'Excited to back @adriangrenier 's @kickstarter campaign to find 52, the @lonelywhale.'

The Entourage star posted on Facebook: 'This is truly an amazing day. I am so deeply grateful to have you as friends and know that you are compassionate and sensitive to care for other living beings.
Over the last few years Leo has donated a staggering amount of money to animal and wildlife causes.

In November 2010, DiCaprio donated $1 million to the Wildlife Conservation Society at Russia's tiger summit.
In 2011, DiCaprio joined the Animal Legal Defense Fund's campaign to free Tony, a tiger who has spent the last decade at the Tiger Truck Stop in Grosse Tete, Louisiana.
