However the Australian actress, who has just been revealed at the face of Etihad Airways, revealed to Channel Ten’s Angela Bishop during an exclusive interview on Monday that she still gets a kick from taking off.
The leggy Australian is seen spreading out in a luxurious in-flight bed in the Abu Dhabi based company's new 'Flying Reimagined' ad campaign.

The 47-year-old told Studio 10 that she was thrilled to sign up with the airline, revealing: ‘I’m passionate about flying, I love planes and I love that they give us the chance to be somewhere very quickly.

While on the commercial Nicole has flowing red locks, during her interview with Angela her hair was styled into a fashionable long bob.

The fashionista teamed the look with a sleek pair of shiny burgundy pumps.

She added: ‘I couldn’t wait to see it because it’s an apartment on a plane, I shot on it for four days.’
The red-haired superstar had just finished shooting new film The Secret In Their Eyes with Julia Roberts and revealed that they really ‘connected’ before adding that they would be staying friends.
Nicole, who has young daughters Sunday Rose, six, and Margaret, four, with husband Keith Urban, and is regularly seen travelling through airports with her family in tow.

The announcement and unveiling of the campaign was made at a press conference in the United Arab Emirates on Saturday, with the Golden Compass actress on hand.
Donning a purple and black dress, she sat with executives and posed happily for a photo op at the end of the announcement.
She told The National: 'I spend so much time flying just because of my job, and also because I am a traveler and I am curious about the world.'
Her husband Keith Urban was pictured with the pair's girls Sunday Rose, six, and Margaret, four, at LAX a day prior.
After wrapping shooting for that film, she'll be blazing a promotional trail for The Family Fang, in which she stars across Jason Bateman.
