But it seems that Chris Hemsworth, 32, still harbours some reservations about about entering the world of social media.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph earlier this week, the hunky Thor actor revealed: 'I still have an attitude of 'what does it mean?' and 'do I want to spend my time doing that?' This is the world we live in and you have to embrace it otherwise you'll be left behind.'

Chris continued to unwrap his reason for joining social media in the interview, saying: 'you make these films and you pour your heart and soul into them so if there's another way to reach an audience and extend that exposure somehow, then, fantastic, and that is what that was about'.

On Thursday this week, the Australian government confirmed that the Marvel production would be filmed Down Under in Queensland during 2016.
Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk made the announcment via Twitter, writing: 'A Marvellous day to announce blockbuster 'Thor: Ragnarok' will film on the Gold Coast in 2016. #marvel #qldpol'.
