The couple, who are rarely seen together in public, celebrated their little one's first birthday on September 12.

Drive star Ryan, 34, looked every inch the doting father as he carried tiny Esmeralda in his arms.

The adorable toddler wore a cute skeleton dress costume and white tights.

Like her famous mom, Esmeralda's face was painted white with a black nose and eyebrows for a spooky skeleton look.

The one-year-old wore black Mary-Jane shoes as she cuddled up to her dad as the family strolled down the sidewalk.

Esmeralda rested her head on Ryan's shoulder after growing tired from all the excitement.

The couple previously revealed to Violet Grey they named their daughter after their favorite character in Victor Hugo's classic novel The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and gave her the middle name Amada - which means 'beloved' in Spanish - after Eva's grandmother.

On Saturday, new mom Eva, 41, wore a pirate skeleton costume with black-and-white face paint that matched her daughter's costume.

She appeared to be loving the family trick-or-treat time, flashing a big smile and casting a loving glance at her daughter as they went door-to-door.

The Hitch actress wore a black coat with silver chains and covered her long brunette hair with a black hat.

The couple recently threw a small 1st birthday party for their daughter and many of the 20 guests at the low-key celebration were from Eva's large family, Us Weekly reports.

The actress, who has Cuban heritage, told Glam Belleza Latina that her family love to spend time with Esmeralda, and 'take over' whenever they visit.

'When my mom and sisters visit, they take over the house,' she said. 'They take my baby! They start cleaning everything! They sound like a bunch of hyenas, yelling in Spanish, English, Spanglish. They sing (her) all these Cuban nursery songs that I forgot my mom used to sing to me.'

'It’s incredible. I really appreciate my family, now more than ever. I’m so happy that my little girl gets to grow up with this,' she told the magazine.

On Saturday, the celebrity pair were almost unrecognizable as they made their way around the Los Angeles neighborhood in costume.

And they seemed to be enjoying the chance to blend in as they took their daughter trick-or-treating.

It was the toddler's first trick-or-treating outing, and she stuck close to her mom and dad as they carried her around the neighborhood.

Eva and Ryan looked relaxed, laughing and chatting with locals and neighborhood kids as they went door-to-door for the annual holiday tradition.

They were accompanied by some fellow adult trick-or-treaters dressed as a basketball player and NFL player.

At one point, the group stopped to chat outside a home decked out with colorful Mexican Day Of The Dead decorations.

They later took a break to chat with friends on the porch of a local house. Ryan pushed his Grim Reaper mask up off his face and flashed a big smile as he chatted with friends and held his daughter's candy basket.

The couple met on the set of their drama The Place Beyond The Pines and began dating in 2011.

Despite their celebrity, and Ryan's sex symbol status among female fans, they have managed to stay largely out of the public eye.

While their daughter has been seen out in a covered baby basket, they have kept her largely under wraps until their Halloween outing on Saturday.
