Justin Bieber released from probation as he completes 40 hours of community labour in egg vandalism case
A judge agreed to remove Justin Bieber from formal probation on Monday.
The decision came after the star's attorney presented proof in court that the singer had completed 40 hours of community labor, the final term of his sentence in his misdemeanor case.
The 21-year-old was ordered to complete the labour after he damaged a neighbour's home in Los Angeles with eggs on January 9 2014.

He pleaded no contest to the charge in July 2014, and was sentenced to two years probation and five days community service which he completed at a homeless shelter.
The star performed maintenance and janitorial work, according to a probation report filed Monday.
A program manager at the shelter praised him for being willing to get 'his hands dirty'.
As well as the community labour, Bieber was also ordered to pay around $80,000 in damage to his neighbor's house and undergo anger management counseling as part of his sentence.

Seeing red: The singer had to complete 5 days working at a homeless shelter (pictured in Dec 2013)
His progress completing work at the homeless shelter was slowed by an ankle injury, but Bieber has received favorable reports from probation officials throughout the case.
Bieber was sued earlier this year by Jeff and Suzanne Schwartz, his former neighbours whose home he damaged in January 2014.
At the time TMZ published a video featuring Bieber's voice and show the damage caused by the eggs.
Jeff Schwartz's suit also accused Bieber of terrorizing his family with loud driving, unsafe driving and claims the singer even spat in his face during one incident.
Bieber has since moved out of the exclusive gated Calabasas community. He did not attend Monday's hearing.

Feisty: He had an emotional week last week, storming off stage from a concert in Norway (pictured)
The young star had an emotional week last week, when he walked out of a radio interview in Spain and then stormed off stage in Norway on Thursday after a fan spilled liquid.
He later blamed his response on having a 'rough week' of long days and being tired and promised to 'work on' getting better at reacting calmly to things.
He posted on Instagram: 'Sadly it's been a rough week for me, long days no sleep, while having to be "on" as they would say for cameras fans etc.

'In no way did I mean to come across mean, but chose to end the show as the people in the front row would not listen.
'Hopefully people will understand where I am coming from.
'I don't always handle things the right way but I'm human and I'm working on getting better at responding not reacting. '

Enough: Justin walked out on the interview
