Mandy Moore 'wants ex Ryan Adams to pay her $37,000 a month and take four of their six cats' as divorce drags on for a year
Mandy Moore's divorce from Ryan Adams isn't going quite as smoothly as she'd hoped.
The singer and actress, 31, is unable to reach a divorce settlement with her ex because the musician refuses to pay spousal support, according to TMZ.
The website reported Wednesday Moore has filed new legal documents asking for Adams, 41, to be ordered to pay her $37,000 a month while they finalize an agreement. It was added the Tangled star also wants him to take four of the couple's six cats.

Back in January, the former couple insisted that their split, after almost six years of marriage, was 'amicable.'
But it turns out that Moore isn't happy that the Heartbreaker recording artist is only stumping up money to cover half of the mortgage on the home they shared and nothing else.
She claims she only earns about a quarter of what Adams does. He's making $151,000 a month, her filing stated.
According to People, she claims, 'I feel as if I have no alternative.' In addition she admits that Adams has contributed to paying half their mortgage, property tax and insurance but her current earnings, she says, are not enough.
'Although I love our pets, it is overwhelming for me to take care of eight of them all of the time,' the actress states in court papers.
She went on to claim that she had to cancel a work engagement due to their housekeeper falling ill and has not been able to work as much as she would like because of her duties as caretaker of the pets.

Ryan is a singer, songwriter and producer who has made 13 albums.
Moore is an actress that has starred in such hits as The Princess Diaries, A Walk To Remember and How To Deal. She will next make the Tangled TV series for Disney.
She's also unhappy that she's been left caring for their two dogs and six cats and wants him to take on four of the kitties immediately, TMZ said.
The two wed in March 2009 after dating on and off for a year. They have no children.
Moore filed for divorce at the beginning of this year citing 'irreconcilable differences.'
