Jay Z recording new album 'to tell his side of things' after Beyonce addressed infidelity rumours with Lemonade
With all the hubbub surrounding his wife's confessional album Lemonade, it's no surprise Jay Z would want to tell his side of the story.
After Beyonce, 34, laid bare deeply personal tales of infidelity in her latest studio offering last month, Jay Z, 46, is reportedly recording his own lyrical exploration of their marriage woes.
'Jay is working on an album telling his side of things,' a source close to the power couple revealed to Us Weekly.

The rapper released his last album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, in 2013.
Rumours of Jay's cheating have surrounded the duo, who have been married eight years, since the elevator fight between him and Beyonce's sister Solange Knowles at the 2014 Mat Gala.
Solange is alleged to have hit out at the hip-hop mogul after she caught him flirting with one of his alleged flings, Rachel Roy.
During Beyonce's 60-minute HBO special which aired on April 23, the songstress walks fans through a very personal journey of betrayal, revenge and eventually reconciliation with her rapper husband.

His version of events: The 46-year-old rapper has yet to address rumours surrounding his marriage of eight years which have swirled since the elevator fight with Bey's sister Solange in 2014

Lyrics like, 'How did it come down to this? Going through your call list/ I don’t wanna lose my pride, but I'ma f**k me up a b***h' were heard in the track Hold Up.
And in the song Don’t Hurt Yourself, Bey sings 'This is your final warning / you know I give you life / if you try this s**t again / you gon’ lose your wife'
The Drunk in Love hitmaker really whipped fans into a frenzy when she referred to 'Becky with the good hair' in Sorry.
Many have assumed that the 'Becky' she speaks about is 42-year-old Roy, a fashion designer and close friend of Kim Kardashian.
Roy, as well as singer Rita Ora who has also been accused, have denied the rumours.
Despite Beyonce's very personal and stinging words, Jay was reportedly fully supportive of her new material.

'Jay was involved in the creation of Lemonade and knew every song Bey was going to release,' an insider told E! News.
'He knew the lyrics; he knew the implications. He had to approve the songs before release. Jay is a very smart businessman ... Bottom line is that they are both really smart and they both saw dollar signs.'
While some in the media have contested whether Queen Bey's latest lyrics are truly autobiographical, other sources say it's all truth.
'It explains how she and Jay got through their problems. The good outweighed the bad, so she gave him a second chance,' they revealed.
Sources say the couple - who are parents to four-year-old Blue Ivy - almost split-up at the time of the elevator drama but are now 'better than ever'
