Following their rare red carpet appearance at Elton John's Oscars bash, Katharine McPhee, 33, and David Foster, 68, enjoyed a casual date night as they grabbed a bite to eat in West Hollywood eatery Craig's on Tuesday.
The Smash star sported a low-key look for the outing as she slipped into a pair of kooky mixed coloured jeans which highlighted her legs.

Katherine's choice of pants boasted both dark wash and black denim which complemented her simple black top.
The TV star, who found fame on 2005's American Idol, wrapped up in a long wool cardigan while she teetered into the venue in her pointed stilettos.

She simply accessorised her laidback look with a pair of silver hooped earrings and draped a simple black handbag over her shoulder.
Katherine accentuated her flawless complexion with minimal make-up and worked her brunette locks into a chic low ponytail.

While Katherine's other half David sported a pair of jeans, navy blue shirt and blazer for the romantic date which he aided with a Gucci scarf.
David and Katherine first set tongues wagging about their romance they were seen together at Malibu's Nobu restaurant in May last year.
David's daughter, Erin Foster, further fanned the flame when she shared a photo of Katharine and David at dinner at the Grammy Museum Gala to her Instagram stories; she captioned the picture: 'Excited about my new step mom.'
She also wrote 'my parents' when Katharine and David hit the stage to perform at the gala in September.

The TV star was snapped on a dinner date with David in November which solidified their romance; she put her hand on his backside as well as planted a kiss on his cheek during their outing together.
David has in his time gone through four marriages - to singer B.J. Cook from 1972-1981, to Rebecca Dyer from 1982 to 1986, to songwriter Linda Thompson from 1991 to 2005 and to model-turned-reality-star Yolanda Hadid from 2011 to last year.
His split with Yolanda went public in 2015, but the divorce was not finalised until 2017.

Katharine and her own ex-husband, producer Nick Cokas, tied the knot in 2008.
But in October 2013, McPhee was photographed kissing her married Smash director Michael Morris.
By May 2014, Cokas and his wife publicly announced their intention to dissolve their union, and the divorce was finalised in February of 2016.
