Apples and oranges! Megan Gale and Rebecca Judd both opt for thigh-skimming mini dresses in bright colours as they lead the style stakes at the 2015 Melbourne Cup
It's the race that sees fashionable fillies from across the nation descend on Flemington.
But all eyes were on Melbourne locals Megan Gale and Rebecca Judd on Tuesday's Cup day, with the pair showing sartorially savvy visitors exactly how it's done as they led the style stakes in striking bright mini dresses.
Mother-of-one Megan was sure not to disappoint in a lacy green Dolce And Gabbana number that hugged every inch of her svelte figure. Featuring a dramatic frill-edged neckline, semi-sheer bust and delicate long sleeves, the elegant design easily drew attention as its model wearer mingled with celebrity guests in the birdcage.
The 40-year-old stunner opted for simple black accessories to top off her eye-catching look, and donned a bold Studio Aniss fascinator and pointed toe slingbacks while her raven-coloured locks were pulled back away from her face in a bushy ponytail.

The 32-year-old wife of retired AFL player Chris Judd was looking radiant with a bronzed beauty look complete with contoured cheeks and plenty of mascara. But while her makeup was kept simple enough, the weather presenter, who recently opened her own beauty school, went for more is more when it came to her hair.
Styling her caramel highlighted locks into voluminous waves, she slicked the front back to make way for a jewel encrusted headband by Hatmaker featuring dazzling pink, red and orange stones. A pair of white stilettos and a silver clutch finished off her racy ready ensemble.
Meanwhile, fashion favourite Jennifer Hawkins went in the opposite direction with her bold neon and black look.
The former Miss Universe made the most of her long and lean figure in a fluorescent yellow Toni Maticevski frock with a peplum waist. She contrasted the one-shoulder design with all black accessories in the form of a fan-shaped Ann Shoebridge fascinator, strappy stilettos and a small clutch.
