Robert and Janice Gordon, of Bourbonnais, celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with a family gathering in Manteno on Oct. 26.

James and Linda Terrell, of Bourbonnais, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a family trip to Hawaii at a later date. The children will be sponsoring the trip.

Doris and John Ash Jr., of Lebanon, Ind., and formerly of Watseka, are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1:30 to 5 p.m. (Eastern time) Saturday, Oct. 19 at Boone County Senior Services, 515 Crown Point Drive, Lebanon, Ind., hosted by their children.

Ada Gross, of Bourbonnais, is celebrating her 90th birthday with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30 at Community Cup Church of the Nazarene, 900 W. Jeffery St., in Kankakee, hosted by her children.

Marcella LeSage, of Bourbonnais, will be celebrating her 95th birthday with an open house at 1 p.m. Nov. 10 at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church basement in Manteno, hosted by her family.

Ardis Messer, of Bonfield, will be celebrating her 90th birthday at 2 p.m. Oct. 27 at Bonfield Evangelical United Methodist Church hosted by hers sons and their spouses.

Donna Bertrand, of Manteno, is celebrated her 85th birthday with a family gathering on Oct. 5 at the Manteno American Legion Hall.

Libby Simeur and Ian Pennington, both of West Chester, Ohio, were married July 1 at The Brightside Event Center in Dayton, Ohio. Family friend, Jeremy Powers, performed the ceremony.

Stephanie Castleman and Jeffrey Mussman, both of Mokena, were married April 21, at The Grand Ballroom at Joliet Union Station in Joliet with the reception immediately following. Pastor Kyle Timmons officiated the ceremony.

Chuckie Gentile, of Manhattan, was among the eight Lewis University students who recently presented research at Mathfest, the second-largest annual mathematics conference in the world, and the annual meeting of the Mathematical Association of American in Indianapolis.

Anna Stephens, of Bourbonnais, will be performing in Belmont University’s “Christmas at Belmont Live from Nashville” concert beginning Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. The concert will stream on Amazon Prime and Twitch. This is the first time the event has been available on a global streaming service.
