Does the King support the building of Heathrow's third runway? My mole whispers more than 300 permanent residents of Windsor Castle are vehemently opposed. Whether they can sign up Charles, who has spent more time at Windsor since his Coronation, to do some unofficial lobbying remains to be seen. His mother was more tolerant and was even able to recite at the dinner table the types of aircraft flying overhead by their engine noise.
