Sydney Thomas recently hit 1million followers on TikTok after going viral for being one of the ring girls during the Jake Paul versus Mike Tyson fight on Netflix less than two weeks ago.
Thomas has turned her 15 minutes of fame from the boxing event into a huge social media following.
Now Thomas, who turns 21 on Tuesday, has posted a 'get to know me' video to share details of her life that are not holding up ring cards. She starts out by saying 'there is more to me than what you see.'
Thomas grew up in the Midwest in St. Louis before going to college at Alabama to study management and entrepreneurship.
She is only a junior but Thomas said she is slated to graduate in August. She is also taking all of her classes online to have more flexibility and time to travel for work commitments.
'Contrary to popular opinion or popular belief, I’m actually smart,' Thomas said. 'People kind of get the image - pretty blonde, doesn’t have a brain. But I got a 33 on my ACT (test) in high school and I’m finishing college early, so take it as you want.'

In addition to her new-found success as a ring girl, Thomas is involved in modeling and has a job with her hometown St. Louis Cardinals as part of the team's in-stadium hype crew.
In her free time, Thomas is primarily focused on herself.
'I’m very athletic. I love health, wellness, fitness and anything that has to do with improving yourself physically, mentally and emotionally, I’m all in for,' Thomas added. 'I’m very driven with self-improvement and just becoming the best version of yourself.'
What's next for Thomas is unclear, as she noted the last two weeks of her life has given her unprecedented attention.
'The past two weeks so much in my life has just been totally flipped upside down. My path is just so different and so unique I just take it day by day. I don’t stress too much about the future.'
