With less than a week to go until his title fight with Jose Aldo, Conor McGregor has stepped up his preparations with a spot of hand-eye coordination training.
McGregor and Aldo face off at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on December 12 in arguably the most anticipated fight in Ultimate Fighting Championship history.
The Irish fighter shared a short video on Instagram of his latest training method which he hopes will bring him success against his Brazilian rival as they prepare to finally go head-to-head.

The Dubliner was training with martial artist Ido Portal whose been a regular companion ahead of UFC 194
The 27-year-old was practicing his reflexes by using exaggerated falls to catch a ball with the help of martial artist Ido Portal, who has been regularly assisting McGregor in the build up to UFC 194 unification bout.
McGregor has insisted that he won’t be suffering the same fate as fellow UFC fighter Ronda Rousey, who fell to a shock knock-out defeat to Holly Holm in Melbourne last month.
The Dubliner recently revealed that he’s been keeping his eye on the ball by watching the famous boxing film Rocky III.

McGregor has insisted that he won’t be suffering the same fate as fellow UFC fighter Ronda Rousey
‘At the start, he has a mansion, seven cars and this robot that brings him coffee. He’s doing ads and talk shows and he’s getting sloppy and lazy.
‘But James “Clubber” Lang is in a dark alleyway sprinting, calling shots, visualising.
‘I smiled watching that because I’m like Rocky III. I have the big houses, I have the cars – but at the same time I’m like Clubber Lang. I’m training like Clubber Lang but I’m living like Rocky.
‘Ronda maybe didn’t focus as much on her training. But I have a perfect balance. I’m living good and training hard.'
