1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton left her sister, Amy, completely dumbfounded after she asked whether they would need a translator for their upcoming vacation to London, England.

Since losing more than 500 pounds, the siblings have been taking advantage of their newfound ability to travel, and in the upcoming episode of their popular TLC show they meet with a travel agent to discuss a trip to the English capital.

In a clip shared exclusively with DailyMail.com ahead of the episode, 38-year-old Tammy leaves Amy, 37, shocked as she wonders whether the natives will be able to understand them.

Addressing the agent, she asks whether they would need translators, adding: ‘Is it going to be hard for us to understand what they're saying?’

‘No, they all speak English,’ the agent replies.

Needless to say, Amy is left stunned by her sister’s question.

Speaking in her confessional alongside their sister-in-law, Brittany Combs, she says: ‘Tammy asked if we need translators and me and Brittany looked at her like… they speak English just a little differently.’

Brittany adds: ‘They might have a little heavier accent, but some of us have heavier accents.

‘They're going to look at Amy and be like, “What'd you say?”’

Elsewhere in their meeting, the travel agent warns the Slatons about London pickpockets.

‘I do highly recommend… like I carry one of the crossbody bags,’ she says, adding that there are also risks when it comes to crossing the road.

‘I will share something with you,’ the agent continues.

‘I had a friend my first time that I went, very first night we were there, she got hit by a taxi, so you have to look both ways when you cross the street because you know, the traffic does come from a different direction.’

Amy is taken aback by the revelations.

‘You think you go to London and there's going to be palaces, nice friendly people. No, you get pickpocketed and ran over,’ she quips.

But the travel agent isn’t done with her warnings and adds that their trip to London will see them walk up to three miles each day.

‘What the main thing about London is, well, anywhere really that you go in Europe, lots of walking,’ she says.

‘You will probably walk at least two to three miles a day. Lots of cobblestones, lots of steps. And because London is old, the steps can be very, very small.’

Speaking in her confessional, Amy voices her concern for her sister, who hasn’t been practicing her daily walks.

‘I'm ready for the walking in London, but Tammy didn't really do the 5K training and she didn't do the 5K, so somewhere she won't be able to keep up,’ she says.

The episode is set to air on Tuesday, December 3 at 9pm ET/PT on TLC.

Last month, Tammy opened up about the everyday activities she can finally do 'comfortably' since shedding 500 pounds on her incredible weight-loss journey.

Speaking to the camera, Tammy explained: 'Now that I've lost so much weight, I'm able to do things that I never would have been able to do.

‘I think people do take the small things for granted. Being able to cross your legs and put your shoes on... I'm able to sit comfortably on the toilet, I've never been able to do that.'
