Starbucks fans RUN to Dollar Tree for $1 tumbler dupes

Starbucks fans have been racing to Dollar Tree to purchase a holiday-themed tumbler dupe for only $1.25.

A TikTok user spotted another $1.25 tumbler dupe while shopping at Dollar Tree - less than a week after Starbucks released its limited edition collection to get customers in the holiday spirit.

The dupes are extremely similar to three Cold Cups featured in the limited edition Starbucks holiday collection - but are retailing for a fraction of the price.

Starbucks released the products on November 7, and they are worth between $23 and $30 - and the dupes similarly come in red and green with matching straws.

The cups were on a shelf with a Dollar Tree sign that said 'New Items Weekly' - despite not being available to purchase online.

Another holiday-themed $1.25 dupe in Dollar Tree is the Winter Holiday Tumbler, which is similar to the coffeehouse chain's version that costs $5 and $20.

The first Starbucks dupe under the 'New Items Weekly' sign looked similar to a product an X user spotted at Dollar Tree in January 2024.

The January shopper's cup she spotted was in blue, and she shared the product on social media after she found it.

'Not me with my Starbucks dupe for $1.25 from Dollar Tree that works the same and allows me to save money for things I actually need,' the X user tweeted.

The X user also claimed the product came in bright red and 'heard there was green' ones that 'works just as well as the real one.'

The TikTokers who watched the November 13 video insisted the first product was 'so awesome' and 'pretty.'

Multiple stores have released dupes of Starbucks tumblers following the product mayhem earlier this year.

One product that ignited a shopping frenzy was the Stanley Quencher released by Target in collaboration with Starbucks, which made fans line up outside of locations and start fights.

Various Target shoppers created X posts and TikTok videos, which quickly went viral online.

Target customer Vincent Marcus posted a video of him waiting in line for the quencher at 1:40 am.

Marcus claimed other customers arrived at 3:00 am, and a line wrapped around the store before it opened at 8:00.

Shoppers eventually began selling the cups online, and one person listed a cup for $550.

'We are seeing an enthusiastic response to the Starbucks x Stanley Quencher and many stores have sold out,' a Starbucks representative said.

The Target mayhem was similar to the chaos ignited after Starbucks released the 2023 limited edition red holiday tumbler.

The 2023 product is similar to Starbucks' Berry Pink Glitter Stanley Tumbler, which is available to purchase for $55.

Although Starbucks Tumblers have brought in a profit, the company has suffered a decline in sales, and only 51 percent of customers believe its products are affordable this year.

Dollar Tree has also struggled after its second quarter earnings for the 2024 fiscal year showed its stocks dropped to a 9-year low.

The company also closed hundreds of locations nationwide this year after its revenue underperformed in 2023.

Dollar Tree's underperformance has not stopped the company from selling various products that are similar to items available to purchase at other places.

The company sold $1.25 pumpkin-themed placemats in October, similar to products available in a set of four from the Bedford Harvest Dinnerware Collection at Pottery Barn for $48.

Social media users also spotted $1.25 Sephora dupes at Dollar Tree stores in the US and Canada.

Two of the Sephora products the Dollar Tree dupes mimicked were a $60 pumpkin enzyme masks and $26 lip crèmes.
