Pok�mon mini was a dedicated handheld console for Pok�mon games that was released in 2001 globally. This small device only had a D-Pad and three buttons, as well as a gyrometer in order for you to play the games. Each game came on a unique cartridge which allowed for the play of the game. Only 10 games were released for this device.

While Pok�mon mini was short lived, with a lifespan of just under 18 months in Japan, its legacy continued in the Gamecube title, Pok�mon Channel, which featured small versions of various Pok�mon mini games, as well as its own unique game in Snorlax's Lunchtime.

Despite the games being on cartridges, the games were saved on the Pok�mon mini console. There are only 5 save slots on the game console but you can play any game without saving if all slots are taken.

There were three models of Pok�mon mini released globally, each based on a specific Pok�mon. There was Wooper Blue, Chikorita Green and Smoochum Pink.
