Reduced losses at Surgical
Medical products provider Surgical Innovations Group reported on 28 March reduced losses for the year and said it would undergo a full strategic review of its operations.
Douglas Liversidge, who took over as chairman in December, said one of his first actions would be to look at the different parts of the company for growth potential.
'In looking to the future it is essential that we concentrate on those aspects of our business that give an opportunity for long-term growth and profitability,' he said in a statement.
The group reported a loss of £694,000 for the year to December 31, compared with £1.07m the year before, despite a sharp fall in turnover to £400,000 pounds from £1.7m in 1998.
