Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was swarmed by a huge scrum of the media and protesters as she appeared for a rally outside the court hosting Donald Trump's indictment.
The firebrand Trump ally was drowned out as she tried to speak in a park opposite the court by anti-Trump protesters screaming 'Nazi' and 'go back to Georgia b****'.
She showed up as chaos started to grow in downtown Manhattan, with protesters clashing and members of the media scuffling before Trump handed himself over to the authorities.
'President Trump is joining some of the most incredible people in history being arrested today. Nelson Mandela was arrested, served time in prison. Jesus! Jesus was arrested and murdered by the Roman government,' Greene told Right Side Broadcasting Network as she drove around New York with her boyfriend, RSBN reporter Brian Glenn.
'There have been many people throughout history that have arrested and persecuted by radical, corrupt governments and it's beginning today in New York City and I just can't believe it's happening,' the Georgia Republican continued. 'But I'll always support him, he's done nothing wrong.'

Trump also broke his silence on the day of his arraignment, calling for the trial to be moved from Manhattan to Staten Island and tearing into the judge overseeing his case.
Greene tried to address the crowd with a megaphone while standing on a bench to show support for Trump after he was indicted in the Stormy Daniels hush money case.
She said the case was a 'travesty' and that it should 'never happen in America ever'.
But she could barely be heard over screams from the crowd of 'go back to Georgia you fucking b****!'
One male protester screamed: 'F*** you, you white trash Nazi
'We don't like Nazis in New York!'
Another man told her to 'get out of our f****** city' and 'shove your Jewish space lasers up your a**,' a reference to a controversial conspiracy theory the Georgia congresswoman posted on social media in 2018.
Additionally, a man can be heard asking the Georgia lawmaker: 'Why are you obsessed with children's genitals?'
Last month, Greene's speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference was centered on attacking transgenderism, claiming that 'mutilating genitals' has become a multi-billion dollar industry.
A few of Greene's supporters shouted 'we love you' but after speaking for just five minutes she left.

Gavin Wax, organizer of the event, and president of the New York Young Republican Club, told DailyMail.com: 'We are watching our justice system be exploited for political purposes.
'It is very unfortunate, and we are trying to call that out, protest peacefully and exercise our first amendment rights,' Wax continued. 'I don't think they would have come after him if he wasn't running in 2024, and they timed it perfectly to coincide with him rising in the polls.
'The predecessor to Bragg refused to prosecute these very same charges - it is completely politicized,' Wax added.
Loud Majority founder Kevin Smith, who addressed the packed crowd after Greene departed, called the Georgia congresswoman 'great.'
'So happy she came out here to support New York,' he said. 'We're out here to show the rest of New York Republicans you're not alone.'
Smith also warned, 'Today is the day America changes - we don't jail our political opponents.
'Bragg is doing this to run for mayor someday, he is just doing this for his own political profile, at the expense of our nation,' Smith added. 'I think if Trump hadn't announced or was down in the polls this wouldn't have happened.
Democratic New York Rep. Jamaal Bowman, who was also outside the courthouse, was captured on MSNBC mouthing off about Greene making the trek to New York.
'Do your freakin' job, Marjorie Taylor Greene, you don't need to be in New York City talking that nonsense, go back to your district,' Bowman said. 'What are you doing here? You're here for politics, you're here because you want to be VP, you're here for your own fundraising, you're here for your own nonsense.'
Republican Rep. George Santos, who's under legal scrutiny for the litany of lies he told while running for Congress, was also in Tuesday's crowd.
Democratic Rep. Jamaal Bowman of New York yelled at Greene for being in New York City Tuesday. 'You're here for politics, you're here because you want to be VP, you're here for your own fundraising, you're here for your own nonsense,' Bowman said
