Man in his 60s dies during baptism ceremony while it's live-streamed on Facebook - as woman is arrested on suspicion of manslaughter
A 46-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after a man in his 60s died during a baptism ceremony, which was live streamed on Facebook.
Emergency services were called to a private address in Birmingham shortly after 1:30pm on Sunday, where the man was given 'advanced life support'.
He was pronounced dead at the scene on Slade Road in Stockland Green, Erdington.
The Life Changing Ministries baptism ceremony was live-streamed on the church's Facebook page, but was cut short during the event - the post has now been removed.
The group's founder Cheryl Reid-Bartley said on the Facebook page on Monday a man called Robert Yap had died. She said he had travelled more than 300 miles to be baptised and had joined the church four years ago.

According to Ms Reid-Bartley the man suffered from Parkinson's disease.
During the near hour-long message posted to the Facebook group, she said she spoke with Mr Yap 'in heaven' after he had 'passed'.
His baptism was said to be the first to take place on Sunday, but others were carried out afterwards.
The ambulance service sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer, and a critical care car from Midlands Air Ambulance, but despite their best efforts he sadly passed away.
West Midlands Police said: 'A post-mortem examination will be carried out in due course to establish the cause of the man's death, while detectives carry out enquiries into the circumstances surrounding his death.
'A 46-year-old woman who was arrested in Birmingham yesterday has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.'
