More than 6,000 people are expected to attend a 25-float parade and celebration on Saturday, which will also include a special visit from Santa Claus.

The Ontario Provincial Police will lead the procession and a movie production company has even offered to provide artificial snow, CTVNews.com reported.

Evan's mother told CTVNews.com: 'It's hard to explain to a seven-year-old. My best response has been, you have a lot of people that love you. That's the truth.'
