Authorities say a 16-year-old Indiana boy is dead after a vehicle crashed into the home where he was watching television with his step-brother on Friday.
The Jay County Sheriff's Department says the 47-year-old driver, Bryce Paxon, lost control of his vehicle and drove into the house, killing Seth L. Corwin and injuring his 10-year-old step-brother.
Corwin’s mother was in another part of the home and was not injured.

Authorities say Paxon has been taken into custody on preliminary charges that he drove while intoxicated.
Paxon, a Pennville resident, had a blood alcohol level of .175, well above the legal limit, Fox reported.
He remained in jail on Sunday on a preliminary charge of operating while intoxicated resulting in death.
Hundreds gathered on Sunday for a vigil in Corwin's honor, reported The Star Press.
'He was huge on charity and loved to quote things,' Amy Ault, the mother of two of Corwin's friends, said.
'Hug each other a little tighter tomorrow as you go to school,' Ault told the crowd of students gathered on Sunday.
People attending the vigil brought canned food to donate to a local pantry in his honor.

On the truck carrying the donations was a quotation that Corwin posted on his Facebook page,
“Instead of building big buildings for churches, how about building big buildings for the homeless,' read the truck.
Jay County Coroner Jason White said that Corwin was killed instantly when the car crashed 'not (just) into the house but through the house.'
The alleged drunk driving accident is not Paxon's first brush with the law. Paxson was convicted in 2009 of dealing in methamphetamine.
Corwin was a member of Jay County High School's marching band and drum line and also volunteered for the fire department.
'We always talk to the kids about how to impact their community, but we never talk about how they impact us, Jay County’s band director Kelly Smeltzer said at the vigil on Sunday.
Corwin's friends set up a Go Fund Me page to help his family pay for funeral costs and other expenses.
Funeral services for Seth Corwin are scheduled for 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
Flying high: Corwin's friends and family released balloons into the sky in his honor and also donated canned food to charity to celebrate his love for doing good for others
