A singer was dramatically upstaged during her performance when her drummer stole the show by dancing and playing at the same time.

Korean drummer, Kwon Soon Keun thrashed out the percussion to Frank Sinatra's classic, 'My way' in a spectacular fashion. 

Equipped with over-the-top hand gestures and facial expressions, it's near impossible not to be fixated on the 75-year-old's performance.

In the funny clip Keun is seen waving his drumsticks behind the singer like a maestro and uses his facial expressions to emphasise each lyric.

During the show the camera to focuses solely on him, despite the singer doing her best to remain in the limelight.

The silver-haired drummer doesn't miss a beat despite standing and sitting throughout. 

Keun became an internet sensation back 2007 when another video of him drumming surfaced online.

The original clip became the inspiration for a documentary on the musician's life, called 'A drummer's passion'.

The documentary was directed by Canadian Mingu Kim.

The Seoul native was already a legend in the Korean music scene and was formerly a member of the country's first rock band.

Keun was said to have 'retired' since leaving the band but occasionally plays the odd gig.

His energetic performance has attracted nearly 50,000 views on YouTube.
