A Florida man headed to the nearest strip club to clear his head after police say he shot dead another person during a violent confrontation.
Rodney Chavers, 41, allegedly killed 42-year-old Tarrie Wilder in Riviera Beach on November 13.
An officer patrolling West 4th Street and Old Dixie Highway in Riviera Beach heard gunshots at around 11.30pm that night and soon discovered Wilder lying mortally wounded on the sidewalk. A pair of 9mm shell casings were recovered from the scene.

His happy place: Chavers arrived at Sugar Daddy's Gentleman Club in suburban West Palm Beach but was ejected from the establishment for bringing a gun
Wilder was taken to St. Mary’s Emergency Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Following the deadly incident, Wilder's suspected killer, Rodney Chavers, traveled the 10 miles to Sugar Daddy's Gentlemen Club in suburban West Palm Beach but was thrown out for bringing a loaded gun, believed to be the murder weapon, according to a police report cited by Palm Beach Post.
He later asked a group of men he didn't know to give him a lift home. They agreed.
During the ride, officials say Chavers showed off his gun, removed the magazine and then popped it back in, the report stated.
He then allegedly confessed to the strangers that he had killed a man, later identified as Wilder, because he punched him in the face, and went to the strip club 'to clear his mind.'
Dark past: Tarrie Wilder's rap sheet dates back to at least 1996 and includes a laundry-list of charges and convictions
Chavers eventually dozed off in the car. While he was napping, the driver pulled over at a Shell gas station and contacted police.
Officers who responded to the scene found Chavers sleeping in the car with the gun in his possession. When interviewed by police, the 42-year-old denied knowing anything about the shooting and asked for an attorney.
Orlando Sentinel reported that a forensic expert who examined his weapon determined that it was the gun that was used in Wilder’s killing.
The 42-year-old was arrested Monday on a charge of second-degree murder. He made his initial court appearance Tuesday and was ordered held without bail.
On his way out of the courtroom, Wilder was seen blowing a kiss to the people in the crowd.
Both the murder suspect and the victim have extensive criminal records.
Chavers has multiple arrests to his name on charges of battery and carrying a concealed weapon.
Wilder's rap sheet dates back to at least 1996 and includes a laundry-list of charges and convictions for drug and weapons possession, as well as resisting an officer, multiple counts of driving without a license and escape.
His last known run-in with the law occurred in September 2014 when he was picked up on a battery charge.
